An intending exhibitor from the Ellesmere district wrote, pointing out that the Associalion’s date, fixing the age for stock, did not coincide with the Herd Hook and thereby imposed a handicap upon pedigree breeder*. After a discussion it was decided to

It was decided to arrange for a display of the cups and trophies of the Association, and also of those of the West Coast A. and P. Association in the West Coast Court of the Exhibition.

The committee reported satisfactory ptogress in the ground improvements. Extra classes were added to the schedule; one for a collection of garden produce, and one for Jersey heifers under one year.

Mr A. F. Diinmiek, Koilcrnngi, proposed a prize of Cl Is in this section. and Mr W. A. Jamieson, Koitorangi, al'o gave a prize of £1 Is for most points in farm produce, while Mr F C. Marshall, Kokntnhi, promised a lik amount for tin- host cow in milk.
