DRUIDS LODGE.
The election and installation of officers in Westland Lodge Xo 89, r.A.O.D. took place on Thursday last, when the following officers were duly installed hy D.P. Bin .Malone in a very impressive manner:—-
A.!). Bro. T. Robinson; V.A. Bro. 11. Kearns; 1.(1. Bro. ('. Foote: See P.H. Bro. Fox; Treas. P.A. Bro. Lock V.A. Bds. Bros. E. Kearns and Bone V.A. Bds. Bros. K. Ferguson Sour and Junr: minute see. P.A. Bro .1 Conning: auditor. P.A. Bro .1. Find lav.
The noway installed officers then returned thanks. The newly installed A.f). then asked D.P. Bro. Malone to present P.A. Bro. .1. Findlay with P.A. collar and diploma, which was done hy the D.P. in a most, impressive manner. The Brother then returned thanks. After a very instructive installation and address bv the D.P. assisted by P.D.P. Bro AY. Bohinson. the lodge was closed in the usual impressive manner and a social hour was spent in the refectory, when the following toasts were propox: d. The A.D. proposed “the King and Order” which were carried with musical honours; “The Visitors” proposed by P.A. Bro. Groufskv and responded to by D.P. Bro. Malone; toast “Grand Lodge” proposed by the A.I). and reponded to bv D.P. Bro Alalone and P.D.P. Bro. Bohinson. The D.P. proposed “Westland Lodge,” responded to by A.D. Bro. Roberts and others. P.A. Bro. Lock proposed “Sister Lodges.” responded to by D.P. Bro. Malone and Bro. Theean, of Pride oi Hamilton Lodge. The D.P. proposed a toast to Bio. Irvine of Ross, who had made a special trip to he present. Responded to bv Bro. Irvine. Musical items were contributed hy Bros. Matislield. -L .1. Williams. ( . I'oote. Bannister. and Conning.
