INWARD CORRESPONDENCE.
From the Acting Publicity Officer, notifying that nine special enlarged photographs were being prepared, and would he forwarded for display at the Exhibition. Mr Barton, the Cinematographer would shortly arrive in Hokitika for the purpose of taking views in connection, with district, tours.—Received. From the Department, of Industries, regretting, upon reconsideration, the Tourist Department would he unable to provide a special exhibit at the Exhibition.—Received. From Denys Koare in respect to space.—Received. Matters to hi' attended to. Air Wild reported on behalf of the Space Committee that there was now less than 1.000 square feet, available for sale. The matter of additional bedding etc. was referred to tbo Accommodation Committee with power to act. The completion of the financial arrangement* for the overdl-alt was sanctioned. It was resolved to write to the Superintendent of the Fire* Brigade to ask suggestions with regard to fire protection precautions. It was also decided to ask that three reliable Boy Scouts be detailed for assistance at the Exhibition during the period the same was open. The meeting concluded at 0.30 p.m.
