WESTLAND COOL STORAGE & DAIRY COY, LTD.
OPENING NEXT SATERDAV. Air H. T. Parry. Managing Director of the Westland Cool Storage and Dairy Coy., Eld., informed a Gcakpian representative to-day that it was hoped everything would be in proper running order lor the opening of the factory next Saturday. There has been some delav in regard to the machinery, hut this has been overcome, and as soon sis the new earthenware drain is put in by the local authority, the main requirements will be met. Electric motive power is to be used and will be tried out this week. It is expected this will be equal to requirements. The main building and the necessary machinery is now all rejgjly. The freezing chamber i- very commodious. but the demand for space is likely to be exacting. The new faetory promises to be a very useful adjunct to the district and is going to be well patronised by suppliers, while in regard to the products of the factory, there is already a satisfactory demand booked up to ensure the success ot the venture.
