Is Ofd per lb.) Argentine, finest- 100 s. 170 s per cwt (Is 51 d. Is Old per lb). Other qualities. 1-lOs, lG Is per (cwt. (Is 3pi. Is old per 11>). Irish—l7os, 18Hs per cwt. (Is 7.L1, Is B;Jd per lb). Danish—2oos, 202 s per cwt (Is 9Jd. Is 9RI per lb). CHEESE. English is firm, hut quiet. Colonial is quiet, and there is very little New Zealand available. Official quotation; are: English, finest farmers—l3ss, 143 s per cwt (Is 2)d, Is 35d per lb). Canadian Finest, 100 s, 108 s per cwt (1.1.Jd 11 Jd per lb); white 101 s, 100 s per cwt (lid. 11 d per lb). New Zealand—Finest, coloured, 108 s, lids per ewt (11 Jd. 11 fd per lb); while, lOtis per cwt (llfd per lb). Other Qualities —Coloured, 100 s per cwt (lljd per lb); white, 104 s per cwt (lid per lb). j Shipments of New Zealand produce arrived this week per s.s. Corintliic and s.s. "Westmoreland. The estimated choose stocks on November Ist. at London, Liverpool and Bristol were as Inflows :—Canadian and United States. 217.500 boxes, against 95,250 Imxes for same time last year; New Zealand, 5-100 crates against 11,500. HEMP. The Manila market is quiet but steady. J. grade Noveiiiber-January shipments is quoted at £35 10s. It is reported that freight to Great Britain Bud the Continent will lie advanced 25s per ton from December Ist. A little more interest is shown in New Zealand. 11ighp'oints £32 10s. FRUIT. The market is slow. There arc very large supplies and all are in first-ela-condition. Oregon Newton apples, IT; to 13s Gd per ease. Californian Newton apples 7s Gd to 10s (hi per ease. Jonathan apples, 10s (id to 12s per ease; Blenheims. ss. WOOL. Sales continue well, with a sustained demand for crossbred. Coarse crossbred shows a hardening tendency, non per cent to 30 per cent, above last closing rates. PEASThe market is quiet and the tender.cv lower. New Zealand Partridge stocks are very heavy and are selling very slowly at 60s to 75s per quarter. Tasamnian small spot supplies making SO# to 85s p*w quarter. English 55s tc 60s per quarter. New Zealand Blue nominally £l7 to £l9 per ton ex store. Tastnanialni Blue, £lO to £2O per ton. Small business has been done with Japanese forward shipments at £2O a ton. Spot value about £23. English offering £l9 to £29 per ton. New Zealand on passage is offering at £l7 10s per ton but no business is reported. EGGS. Small arrivals continue and prices have advanced.
