AUSTRALIAN AND N Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION LONDON, Oct. 7. It is understood Lord Buckmaster has agreed to net as the British nominee for the Special Commission of Jurists which the longue of Nations’ Council is appointing to advise upon the interpretation of the covenant and cognate matters arising out of the Italo-Greok crisis. The Commission has been asked to decide first, can tho League decide, if an event is likely to lead to a rupture; secondly, must tho League suspend its activities it the -—w disputants agree to refer the matter elsewhere; thirdly, is there any other way, save mutual arbitration, wherein the League can be left out of the negotiations; fourthly, can measures of coercion be taken without constituting nets of war; and if, fifthly, a State is responsible, and how far for a, crime committed within its territory. s
