DR TELFORD AT GREYMOUTH.

GREYAIOUTH, Oct. 9. Dr. Telford (Canterbury and Westland District Medical Officer', who is on the West Coast with the object of influencing the Groymouth and Hokitika Borough Councils to provide up-to-date sewerage facilities in their respective towns, and the Grey County Council to do likewise at Blackball, last night met the members of tlie Greymouth Borough Council to state his requirements as officer of health. Among other requirements asked for by Dr. Telford was the immediate erection of an incinerator for burning rubbish and the improvement of the sanitary system. Dr. Telford made many complaints in connection with th e condition of the drains anil insisted on a septic tank in Kilgour road vicinity.
