AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. EVACUATING CORFU. (Re eeived this day at S a.m.) ATHENS, September 20. The Italian Legation informed the Foreign Alinister that the evacuation of Corfu will be completed to-day, and the island returned to Greece to-mor-row. CAUSE OF THE DISAGREEMENT. LONDON, September 20. The Central News Agency’s correspondent at l’aris states that the Ambassador’s Conference has been unable to agree on the report received from the Commission which investigated the Janina murders. The Confeience has adjourned. The Italian Ambassador has refused to accept the report. There is good reason to lielieve the report finds that tae- crime was non political, and that Greece was in no way remiss in her efforts to find tlie murderers. The Italian Ambassador maintains that the evidence snows that Greece has not done her best to clear up the authorship of the crime. He considers that the Conference should exact the sanctions provided for. Tho Ambassadors are seeking for new instructions from their respective Governments. AWARD FOR ITALY. (Received this (lay at 9.0 a.m.) PARIS, Sep. 2G. It is understood that the Ambassadors' Conference has decided to award Italv fiftv million lire from Greece.
