TO-NfGITT—“.HIGH HEELS.” Princess Theatre will probably hold a record picture attendance to-night The occasion is a citizens benefit to AltT.oaii’s pictures, tlio proprietors of which in the past have rendered always the fullest assistance and response to every philantrophic appeal. To-night’s benefit i- under the patronage of the Beautifying Society. Returned Soldiers Association, Hokitika School Committee. Municipal Band, and the citizens generally. A very bright star picture will he shown—“ High Heels.” This will depict events in the life of a millionaire flapper, ponrtrayed by Gladys Walton, one of the special favourites of the screen. Tile pleasing actress is described as adorable in this epic picture of a flapper. Como aiul laugh, and sigh and rejoice with Gladys as circumstances force her to coiuc down r.ll her high heels to find teal happiness. Tiiere will he good supports. Immediately after the pictures there will he a. dance at the Soldiers Hall, admission Is. 'this should prove a pleasing wind up to the night's benefit gathering.
