NORMA TALMADGI' WEDNESDAY.
Norma Tulmadge, tlic most popular of all screen artists will appear at the Princess Theatre on Wednesday in an eight part First National super feature “The Kternal Flame.” A great and glorious story from the daring and romantic pen of Honori l)e Balzac. .She is ably suported in this big special with the following cast: Conway Tenrle, Otis Harlan. Rosemary Thehy, Irving Cummings, Kate Lester. Above all. the characters .seem alive—living, breathing, loving creatures. Never liefore has Norma Talmadge ascended to Mich heights of dramatic emotion. As an actress she disappears-—she actually becomes the Duchess do l.angeois magnetic, radiant, at first the indignant wife, then the heartless co<|Uetto, aglow with the wine of triumph, and seductiveness; then, in scenes of splendour and suspense, she is slowly consumed by a passion of sacrifice, an ecstasy of love such as few women .may squander on a man.
On Thursday next a Universal Jewel production entitled “Human Hearts’' am! starring House Peters will Ik: screened for one night only. I sual prices will lie charged on Wednesday and Thursday.
