GREY V. HOKITIKA. The annual match with the Hokitika Club will be played on' the Omoto Links on Monday next, Dominion Day. N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS. WANGANUI, Sept. 21 The N.Z. amateur and open golf championships tourney commenced today in fine weather. The links were in capital order and the greens keen. There was some brilliant play in tho first round in the morning hv Ham, Clements and Hood. The aggregate leader at the end of the second round was F. Hood, who was one ahead of Brooks. Both are professionals. A. D. .8. Duncan and A. H. Horton head the amateurs, with Capt. Conway second. The third and fourth qualifying rounds will lie played to-morrow. The aggregates are:— G.
