The Migration Mission. ( The abnormal state of affairs' in the Old Country lnul been brought about hy the economic conditions and the various troubles following the war. The object of the Mission was to find the means of absorbing the surplus population of the Mother Country, and if that could be done it would Ire good business for the Old Country and the new country. In New Zealand, one of the members of the Mission had found that there was a general opinion that the delegation was sent out hy the Imperial Government to prepare for bringing out a huge body of unemployed people, but lie could assure them that they were doing nothing of the kind.
