SUMMER IS COMING.
With tlie approach of summer, busy housewives will he thinking about the ordeal of cooking in the warm, trying days approaching. But there a ready escape—cooking with gas! Gas has many uses in the home, and it is just ideal for home cooking. It is cleaner and cheaper, a labour-saving method, and altogether lietter. It is very handy, morning, noon or night; it, is the ready-at-hand servant, always there to meet requirements. A lighted match and a turned tap is all that is required as the first essential when cooking with gas. There are many and varied forms of gas cookers. Housewives should apply at the show room ot the Hokitika Gas Company, or consult Mr W. H. Shannon, Re veil street, where types of these modern and handy cookers are on view. Modern methods reduce house work to a minimum, ami gas is a special aid in that direction. Indeed, cooking by gas is the .ideal method for hot summer days—or nights.
