A Madrid message states that it is learned from a Ministerial source that a document has ltcen distributed throughout the garrison at Madrid declaring that the Government, has lost all pilblic confidence owing to immorality corruption, and the disastrous policy in Morocco. The Captain-Gen-eral of Madrid, K. Cohos, who was summoned to the Cabinet, gate an as surance that the garrison of Madrid was ready to guarantee the maintenance of order.

Sail Sebastian reports that the Spanish Foreign Minister. Seuor Alba, declared that, having learned that the military coup was particularly directed against him. he has tendered his resignation and will not return to Mail riti. Advices received in Paris from Barcelona state the Marquis Estelle, in an interview, said that the news from Madrid gave a hope that the Government would give them satisfaction when the King arrived. The new policy would include the rigorous repression of the revolutionary Communists, and separatists, they would endeavour to realise the ehiel aims oi the Government ill Morocco, niter which they would limit action there in order to relieve the country of the excessive .burden that the campaign involved. The •‘Esol’ states the Government have sent warships to Barcelona. The garrison at Bilbao have joined the movement. Madrid is, quiet, and no incidents have occurred there.
