GREY CLUB’S CHAMPION. The final of the men's championship bo holes, was played on the Omoto links Ed ween Messrs Sime and Kent, and resulted in a win for Sime alter a verv interesting match, by 8 up and oto play. Over the first six holes Kent ncld his own. but the peisistent play of Sime proved too much for him. and at the end of the fii'-t eighteen hales. Sime was six up. Air Sime leaves on Saturday to compete in the New Zealand championships at Wanganui. GOLF FINAL. NELSON. Sept. 14. The final of the golf championship between Aliss Vigor Biown (Napier), a,,d Aliss AYatson (Dalmerston North), commenced this morning in beautiful weather. At the end of the first round. Aliss Watson was one up.
