Mrs Robison, Vice-President, presiding, ,the report showed that G 9 clubs were affiliated, receipts £1 15, and expenditure £139. 'the Alanawatu Club delegate moved u remit to the annual meeting that the rules should give a clear understanding on the question of handicaps in the event of a player having two consecutive wins, or throe at intervals, within two months, this rule to bo published in the New Zealand Golf Union Book of Rules. There was a long discussion and an amendment was carried to the 'effect *llOl no half lnmdieapin'g be made until advice is received from England. The next championship is to he held at Hamilton. Toe date for the Coronation Medal Match is fixed for the last week in May. ft was 'resolved that Miramar, Hamilton, and Alanawatu be classed as
metropolitan dubs. All cfliceis were re-elected with the addition of Mrs Russell Grace (Wanganui) among the vice-presidents.
GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP. NELSON, Sept. 11. After a night’s heavy rain and gale, the golf tournament was continued this morning in line weather, but with a strong northerly wind.
