Tlio Science Congress adopted the principle implied in resolutions agreed to by sections, which has already been cabled, with the exception of a resolution regarding the League of Nations cabled on August. 28th.., which was withdrawn, in consequence of representations by the American delegate, that the matter was propaganda. Tlie League was opposed by two to one in' America and it was introducing a political aspect to refer to the subject to a body which the United States bad not favoured.
