MUSICAL EXAMINATIONS.
The practical examinations in music in connection with Trinity College, London, were held at St. Columbkille’s Convent on Friday and Saturday by CL ] ’ Vincent Esq., the official exammci. The following are the results:— PROFESSIONAL. Marie Jones, Licentiate T.C.L., singing, practical. Marie Giese, Associate T.C.L., singing, practical. Myra Heenan, Associate T.C.L., piano, full certificate. Frances Knowles, Associate T.C.L., piano, full certificate. SENIOR. Marie Paget, piano. Irene (iiloaly, singing. Ethel Streeter, piano. Kathleen Kennedy, singing. Maureen Jacobs, tiiano. INTERMEDIATE. Edna Hogan, piano, honours. Alona Ruaue, piano, pass. Alice Maloncv, piano, unss. JUNIOR. Gwen Jacobs, piano, honours. Phoebe Stephens, piano, pass. Ellen Kirbv, piano, pass. Harriet Selby, piano, pass. PREPARATORY.
Bulu Ives, piano, honour;-. Pearl Dowell, piano, honours. In addition to the above the licentiate Diploma with 1)5 marks out of a possible 100 was gained by one of the teaching staff, the examiner stating the candidate was the best he had ever examined for that degree. Miss Mary Kerridge, L.T.C.8.. also sat for the Fellowship Degree, but will have to wait for some months for final results, as her report has to ho ionwarded to London.
