The* Secretary reported that the receipts to date fin the building account had been £59-1 3s. and the expenditure £552 I Is (id. leaving a credit balance of £ll 8s (id. The outstanding liabilities were .set down at £3O. with a contingent liability of £IOO due in November. It was reported funds were accruing steadily through the various functions being organised and the Diggers Sawmill Coy. had donated £5. —- Received with thanks. The not sum returned from Poppy day was £32 6s Id, and the amount was voted to the Beautifying Society to be subsidised £ for £ in providing work for ex-service men. With regard to future building opelatinns it was resolved to obtain estimates of the cost of material required. and if possible to push on the completion of the building for the holiday period. It- was decided to see lion, members of the Clttli on pre-payment of an annual subscription of £2.
