At Groymouth he was very successful, the audience being completely mystified, his skilful work earning generous applause. Disappearing thimbles, cards, handkerihiefs and other articles were ‘'found" in the most unlikely places, and the voting assistant's face was a picture of amazement as Selwyn relieved him of dozens of playing cards.
