The “Morning Post” Paris correspondent states : The Disarmament Commission cabled about yesterday, lias approved the draft of the treaty for mutual aid. The document will bo submitted to the Council of the League of Nations after a final reading. Tho treaty provides that each signatory Power shall report to the Council how it is able to reduce armaments, and also that it sha.il undertake to cooperate in any general plan for a reduction of armaments proposed by tho League of Nations, based on the information thus given, the contracting States undertaking to give effect- to a reduction within two years of the League's approval of the plan. This reduction of armaments is a necessary condition imposed upon the signatories before the guarantees of security come into force.
