TUNNEL OPENING CELEBRATIONS.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR SATURDAY. Arrangements in connection with the train service for the above are now completed. Wo are advised the train services will run as follows:—-Dunollio depart 7.55. a.m. Ross depart 6.0 a.in. Hokitika 0.15 a.m.. Kumara 7.27 ami.. Greymouth arrive 8.0 a.m. depart 8.20 a.m., Stillwater 8.47 a.m. Moana 11.20 a.m. Otira arrive 10.40 a.m. depart 10 50 a.m., Arthur’s Pass arrive 11.20 a.m. depart 11.55 a.m.. Otira arrive 12.5 p.m. This train will stop at Brunner. Rntnra, To Kinga. Rotomnnu and Jackson for invited guests if refjuired. A train connecting with tho above will leave Reefton at 0.55 a.m., Tknmatua 7.40, Ahaura 8.12. Ngahore 3.25. This train will also stop at Totarn Flat and Knmakn ii required. The return train will leave Otira at 3.35 p.m.. Stillwater 5.10 p.m. (connecting with ordinary train for Inangnhun). Grevmonth arrive 5.35 p.m Hokitika and Ross passengers will go on with the ordinary <.O p.m. train from Grevmonth. The ordinarv 3.45 p.m. train for lnnngahua will not leave Grevmonth till 4.40 p.m., to enable the connection at Stillwater to be made. The train from Christchurch will atrive at Otira at 12.45 or 12.50 p.m.. returning at 3.10 p.m. Light refit sh metis only will h • a'.a 1ahle at Otira refieshmmt rooms for a limited number of persons and those who intend being present at the opening ceremonv will be well advised to provide themselves with refreshments he means of hampers or otherwise. Hot water will be available for those who require it. , , . Quests will require to present their invitations as well as their railway pass on trains. The platform at Greymouth will he closed from 7.30 a.m. till departure of the special train to enable passengers tg wpre their seats in comfort-,
