Returning from a call on the Turkish military Governor, General Hnrington said he trusted that the new peace would be long and lasting, and ho concluded: “We leave behind on Turkish soil the bodies of many soldiers of Britain and tho Dominions, who gave their lives in a fair fight. Wo leave them in tho confidence that you, in keeping with old traditions, will ever lcspect their memory.”
