AUCKLAND CASES. AUCKLAND, July 24
Three pneumonic eases oT flu have been reported to-day; also one fatal case at AVallon. The- total for the month so far is 31, including three fa-tals.

The Health Department- reports that cases of pneumonic influenza and pneumonia in various health districts for the week ended yesterday were as follow :—Auckland, pneumonic influenza cases, 18, deaths. 7; pneumonia cases 9, deaths i; Hawke’s Bay, pneumonic influenza cases, 1, deaths 0; pneumonia cases 1. deaths 0; Wanganui and Taranaki, pneumonic influenza cases. 10. deaths 9; pneumonia cases 0, deaths 0 ; Wellington, pneumonic influenza cases 5, deaths 2; pneumonia cases 3, deaths 2. Canterbury, pneumonic influenza cases 62, deaths 7 : pneumonia cases 5, deaths 2; Otago, pneumonic influenza eases 53, deaths 19; pneumonia eases 2, deaths 0. North Auckland reports no cases of influenza or pneumonia for the week.
'Hie Health Department states tha the figures quoted above strengthei the view that the present influenza epi domic is in no way dissimilar from tha of 1920.
