AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. DOCKERS HOWL DOWN LEADERS. LONDON, July 22. Mr Gosling and Mr Bevnn, of the Transport Workers Union were howled down by live thousand dockers when they attempted to put tno Union’s case before a meeting. As soon as the leaders mounted the crowd booed, and tried “Traitors, swine, cowards, you have told us." The unofficial leaders thereupon called the dockers to show their contempt for the leaders, by leaving the hall, which they did, leaving only tn© leaders on the platform. Gosling and Bevnn were greatly affected by the treatment. Bewail said ho would make another effort to eonviiice the men.
