CLARK McCONACHY TO VISIT HOKITIKA. Billiard enthusiasts of Hokitika will be pleased to learn that Clark MeConnchy, New Zealand's Professional Billiard Champion, will be playing a matcb here on Monday, duly 23rd., in the Federal Billiard Rooms (under the management of Mr W. Gnylor). McConachy’s manager. Mr C. Vi . .Erwood (who is in the town at present making arrangements for the champion's visit) stated to our representative to-day that McConachy’s game lias improved considerably since his return from England and lie will lie leaving N.Z. shortly to compote in the 1924 World's championship arid authorities on the game are of oninion that his chances of bringing world honours to New Zealand arc exceptionally good. Ladies are being invited to witness the match, as games played in Dunedin and Christchurch recently were well attended by members of the fair sex. who displayed keen interest throughout.
