The “Morning Post’s” Helsingfors correspondent says: 3he Soviet authorities in Moscow recently shot tile well-known clowns Him and Bom, who had been making themselves objectionable bv ridiculing the Soviet loaders. The State Circus endeavoured to < < n(..,;,1 the shooting by billing their i aims and instructing other clowns to : Him and Bom. An impressano named Afanaself. however, wrote to the newspapers accusing the State Cirons of fraud, whereupon the State Circus suev Afanaself. alleging that his statement had caused them financial loss. With queer logic the Soviet Court rejected the circus plea .vet it ordered Alanasell to bo arrested and thrown into prison.
