WELLINGTON, July 1C The House met at 2.30 p.m. In tho House this afternoon, after tlie transaction of formal business, the Hon W. F. Massey moved the customary motion of condolence with the relatives of the late Sir Wm Fraser, whose death took place this moriTing. The motion was seconded bv AH Wilford, and supported by Messrs Holland, Horn, Anderson, Sidey, AYitty, and Sir Heaton Rhodes, and when the motion was passed the House adjourned until 7.30 p.m. as a mark of respect to the memory of the deceased.
On tho House resuming at 7.30 p.m. the debate on the Budget was continued hy Messrs Nash, Howard, Edie, Potter. O’Brien, Xgata, Acting, McIloride. and Sykes. At 1.10 a.m. Afr Massey rose to ret>!y whereupon the House went into Committee of Supply to consider the ■Estimates. Progress was then reported and the House rose at 2.25.
