LATE DEAN MeKENNA. PAHIATEA. July 12. The funeral of the A’ery Rev. Dean Tom McKenna toon place to-day at- the Mangatinoka Cemetery. It was on? of the largest seen in the district. AA'estport. and other districts were present. The church wits overflowing. Requiem Mass was celebrated hv the Rev. Father John Kelly, assisted by the Rev. Fathers Sweeney, Fallon, and McDermott. Munsignm’ McKenna-, brothet of the deceased, presiding in the Sanctuary. The choir, consisting of the clergy, was under the Rev. Father Mahoney, and the Rev. Father Sehaeler was organist. The cortege was over tv mile in length, including -10 priests, and fully 100 motors. Business here was suspended. The set vice at the graveside was conducted by the Rev. Father Cushman.
