Mr Milford intimated that when the Bill was in Committee, he would move to make provision for appointing women jurors, which created a good deal of discussion. The Lib was read a second time. The evening sitting was occupied with a debate on the State Advanies Amendment Bill, the second reading cl whiih was mined hr Mr Massey. A> i lie Bill made provision lor more liberal advances up- housing, the Bill was freely discussed, and at 11.30 l lie debate was adjourned till 2.30 to-mor-row.
