EXHIBITION DELEGATION

SUCCESSFUL MEETING AT REEI'TON. (By Telegraph.—Special to Guardian). REEFTON, June 13 The Exhibition Delegation which is proceeding north reached Reefton shortly before nine last night, heavy roads and fog delaying the car. The delegation proceeded immediately to the County Chambers where the County Chairman (Mr D. McYicar) presided over a good meeting. The gathering had disposed of previously, some of the preliminaries. The meeting was addressed by Messrs Butler, Jeffries, Pnrfitt and Evans, who explained the details of the Exhibition. A very cordial hearing was given and much interest taken in the movement. After answering several questions, a Local Cofmittee numbering about 20, with power to add to their number, was appointed to organise a local exhibit from Inangahuu district. M r McYiear was elected a Vice-Pre-sident of the Exhibition Council. Mr TV. .T. Butler thanked the meeting for the cordial support extended, and said he looked forward to the Exhibition proving a special bond of union to bring the Coast closer together, anil so ho a real advantage to the future of the whole Vest. Coast. Tlie delegation left for the North at P. 30 ibis morning and holds a meeting at Murchison at 1.30 this afternoon, reaching Nelson to-night. The weather continues wot and foggy.
