ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. At the A rail lira Yards yesterday there was an entry of G 9 sheep and ;>0 head of cattle which were submitted to the usual attendance of buyers. The market was fairly brisk throughout, ffieep selling particularly well, while beef maintained prices equal or better than last sale. Air W. Jeffries and Co. sold as follows On account of Messrs Kggchng anti Sons, 30 fat ewes and wethers at 32s 3d. 30 do at 31s Gd, 40 lambs at 24s 3d. On account Air H. Melmrry, 2 steers at £B. 1 cow at £7 15, 1 do. at £5 12s Gd. 1 do. at £5 10s, 1 heifer at £5. On account Air Al. J. Rurcell, 1 hlk. at £lO 12s Gd, 2 blks at £lO. 2 do at £9 2s Gil, 2 do at £8 15s, 3 do at tß_ss 2 steers at £5 17s Gd, Ido a: 15. f>“ On account Air .T. Condon, 3 blks tit £3. 0 at £8 10s, 2 at £B. three at £7 17s Gd, 4at £7 15s, 4at £7, 2at £6 17s Gd. On account Air A. Afossrs Af. Houston and Co. report : Our entry at tho above sale yesterday consisted of 280 fat sheep, 0.) prime lambs and 25 fat cattle. Competition was good throughout the sale and beef again showed a slight advance in price, whilst sheep and lambs sold exceedingly well. One pen of very prime sheep landed ex Elsie from Nolan Bros Okuru, made the very satisfactory price of 40s, which is the highest price recorded at these yards for a considerable time. AVe sold on account of Nolan Bros., G 5 lambs at 26s 9d, 33 fat sheep at 40s; on account of a client 36 fat sheep at 32s 3d, 33 at 32s Gd, 33 at 325, 35 at 325, 38 at 32s Gd, 3G at 325, 35 at 325, 1 at 20s; on account of W. R. Adamson 1 bullock at £8 12s Gd, 2 at £7 15s, 3 af £B, 2 heifers #it £6 ss, 2at £6 ss; on account of J. Alurphv 1 steer and 2 heifers at £3 os; on account A. Bradley, 1 cow at £3 2s Gd : on account of a client, 2 bullocks at £9 10s, 3 at £9 2s Gd, 3 at £S 17s Gd, 4 ai £8; on account P. AfoDonald 1 heifer at £5, 1 at £5 2s Gd, 1 steer at £4 2s Gd. 1 cow and vealer at £4 7s Gd.
