POSTER PARADE AND NOVELTY BAZAAR.
The big event next week will be the Poster Parade and Novelty Bazaar at tho Princess Theatre, kindly placed at the disposal of the Hokitika Beautifving Society bv the picture proprietors, Messrs' McLean and Moore. The ladies’ committee, which has the Bazaar in hand have spared no pains in preparation for the event, which is intended as a benefit for the funds of that useful local institution —the Beautifying Association. \ special feature of the display will |>o* the Poster Parade in which some fifty young ladies, handsomely gowned in fancy costume, will participate. During the parade of the characters, the audience will he invited to select by papular vote, the host character representation. Mrs W. Wilson is organising this interesting section of the Bazaar, which is to ho staged both evenings. In addition to the panicle there will bo marching and dances by the performers—tho whole completing a very entertaining programme.
