Strong parties of police are pouring the Muiulaoran and adjoining districts, which continue in a stale of excitement over the bushranger. It is assumed that the police efforts have been negatived by accomplices advising the hunted man of thenmovements. HICKSON MISSION CONCLUDES. SYDNEY. May 2E Air Hickson has concluded his mission. Many cures, particularly during the later stages of the mission—some of them very remarkable —are claimed. Governor Davidson, speaking at a valedictory service, said that he knew of many miraculous cures resulting from the mission and lie had been very deeply impressed thereby, lie realised ti ia t there had been happening in our midst enough to bring the pleasure loving community back to the most deep and perfect faith, and back to the religion and traditions of their forefathers. Archbishop Wright stated that the Anglican clergy will continue the employment of Mr Hickson’s methods.
