The “Chicago Tribune’s” Ottawa correspondent reports that, follow ing on a conference between the Canadian Prime Minister, Mr Mackenzie King, and Professor .Smitten, the Representative of the Irish Free State, the correspondent was informed that the Canadian Parliament, within the next fort-/ night, would begin the consideration of the question of the appointment of a Canadian Minister in Washington. Professor Smittco said that Ireland will follow Canada’s suit, also appointing a representative* in IV ashingtou if the Dominion does so.
