INTERNATIONALISM IN Sl’OlIT. , Sportsmanship, like charity, should begin at home. The man who sees the joke when the potatoes are hard, or takes it smiling when his son breaks the onlv gas-globe, will in spirit at least, bo the best man at football, cricket, tennis, or wliist. So also it is necessary before thinking or calling ourselves sportsmen that we should be good losers in local contests as well as extravagantly chivalrous under deteat.
