AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CARLE ASSOCIATION. INDIA AND TENNIS FEDERATION. (Received this day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, May 13. The International Tennis Federation has refused to recognise India as a nation, and has also refused Iter representation on the Council of the federation. 'J’he decision caused much teseiitnient as over three years ago the Davis Cup authorities decided that India possessed a constitution and independent national representation and this decision the federation lias now reversed. The Indian Association is protesting to the Fccdration and to the American and Australasian Associations. It is believed the decision will not affect India’s participation in the Davis Cup games .
