•A meeting: was lield oil Friday at 1L n.m. at the County Chambers. Prolent—The President (J. Fleming), VicePresident (D. Jcilie), Treasurer (AY. Jamieson). Also Messrs C. S. Dalgliesh W' .Tones, .T. F. Minehan, J. Monk, ML Oklerog, R. Vlid and J. Wilson. The minutes of the previous meeting was read nml confirmed, also the inward and outward correspondence. Messrs Dalgliesh, Mclntosh and Jones reported that they had met the Pacing Club Committee and bad discussed the making of a track for show purposes on the 1? nee course. Thev suggested the various improrements needed and it was resolved unanimously to carry out the improvements suggested.. . A Sub-Committee consisting f t Messrs Fleming, Jamieson, Jellic and Dalgliesh were appointed to arrange a loaso of a portion of the Racecourse grounds with a view of effecting improvements necessary for Show purposes and a guarantee of £250 was made in the room towards the cost of the work proposed •A Sub-Committee consisting of Messrs Fleming. Jamieson and Wild were appointed to prepare reasons for an amendment of the voting qualifications for local bodies elections.
