The Titnaru Boxing Association hold a tournament to-night, when four matches were arranged, in which the competitors were all champions in tno-r respective classes. The results were: Griffiths of Otago (Domini'a: f y weight champion) beat Ennis (the South Canterbury champion).
AVorthington, of Timaru (South Island bantam champion), beat Bia k of Christchurch.
McKenna, of Timaru, tse.it Mc(Vi mack, of Ashburton (the Dominic*! heavy-weight champion). Tt’e 15-rounds light heavy-weight championship match between McHenry and Parker (Timarn) went the w hole distance. Parker getting the verdict. This fight was throughout an extremely fast one. MeCleary showed superiority in ringeraft and science, tint his opponent made the fight all the way, never allowing the holder to set tile. Parker was prominent with straight right and left body blows, while his recovery was especially fast, and was responsible, for many points going to him.
