Cai'K Foil Tii k Mkn Who Focoiit. “It has been found that the tendency of the Government of La t* - ha- been to withdraw the bent-tits which were won tor returned soldiers in the early days of the history of the Returned Soldiers' Association.” states the annual report of the Christchurch Ii.S.A. “For example, repatriation benefits, including loans for business purposes, loan- for furniture, vocational training, tenancy legislation giving protection to returned soldier tenants, advances under the Discharged Soldiers’ Settlement Act. enabling soldiers to buy houses already built, have all been withdrawn, whilst the advances to soldiers enabling them to build new houses are practically restricted to disabled men.”
