SCHOOL COMMITTEE ELECTIONS.
QALIFICATIONS TO VOTE. “Householder” in relation to the election of members of a School Committee means:— (a) Every adult male or female person who lias for the period of three months next before the day of Election resided in any dwelling house within the School District- as owner or tenant thereof; and (b) —The father, wherever resident, or, if he is dead or absent front .New Zealand, the guardian or other person, wherever resident, who has the at tu d i iistodv of any child attending any public school situated within such district ; and (e)~ lit School Districts situated within the mining distrii is under the Mining Act. 11I0S. includes every adulc holder of a miner's right who for the period of three months next before the day of Election has resided in the School District and is not an ■ili*.*:i ; and (d) —The husband or wife of any person referred to in para graphs 't ;. (b>, or (e) hereof. Al! householders, and no other persons. are qualified to vote at the Election and to he elected members of the School Committee. A three months’ residence in the district is not required under qualification H)).
