[BY TELEGRAPH —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] SCHOOLS FOOTBALL. CHRISTCHURCH. April IS. Following on flic decision of the Public Schools Association to exclude the Maret schools from its Rugby competition. the Rugby l nion discussed the matter last night when the President of the Onion stated that the Fnion never had control of schools football, although it had assisted financially. It was decided to continue the negotiations for a competition outside of the Schools Association. district teams being formed under the aegis of existing senior clubs which should also coach the players.
