The Enemy Property Custodian has announced that under a recent Act of Congress, all enemy properties under £2OOO in value will be returned, the total approximating 45.000,000d01. of the :M7,000.000d01. grand total held. The remainder is regarded as sufficient to meet any demand for damages arising out of the war inflicted by Germany, should Congress decide to make this use of the money. This is not likely since a great part of it belongs to German nationals, and not to the German Government.
