The indications are for westerly winds strong to gale and veering bywest to south. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled with rain following. Heavy rain is to be expected with rivers rising shortly, and the weather will probably become colder. The barometer has a falling tendency but rising again shortly. Seas heavy, tides good.
