A Munich message states a plot has been discovered which was designed to bring alsout in the immediate future, a violent change in the Bavarian constitution. Seven suspects were detained. The ringleaders are Professor Fueli (art and dramatic writer), Hugo Alachsaris (concert conductor). The Public Prosecutor who committed suicide was a brother-in-law of Count Bothmcr. an active participator in a former Monarchist- plot who compromised the movement by secret interviews with French Generals in the Rhineland. Queen Alexandra lias sent a message through all British wireless broadcasting stations, stating:—“T am glad on the sixtieth anniversary of mv arrival in England to send aflcctionate greetings to the British people. An improvement in the economic conditions, is indicated by the Director of American relief administration*who is cabling Washington that further famine relief is unnecessary. The director declares Russian needs a money credit instead of famine aid. in order to restore industries and develop the vast agricultural resources. Americans fed ten million starved people in 1922. March S. - TOe “Morning Post’s” Cairo correspondent says in vie"' of the agitations in Britain for a withdrawal from Mesopotamia and Palestine on financial grounds it is felt that the British Governments hands are tied. As regards Egypt it is believed that British taxpayers would rather evacuate Egypt than pay for garrisoning it until the country is fit to relieve England of all local Governmental responsibilities.
