COMMITTEE MEETING. 1 The Committee met at the Club Room at 8.40 p.m. Present: Messrs W. E. Williams (chair), R. Whiley, T. W. Rriiee, M. Houston, W. Keller, J. Peake, ■). •). Mclntosh, H. A. Thompson, AY. A. Yarrall and D. J. Evans. Apologies were made -for the absence of Messrs C. Sellers anil F. McGregor. Mr J. A. Murdoch wrote forwarding a donation of Co os to the Club.—-Re-ceived with thanks and appreciation. The passing of the Easter programme was notified, and also that Alt C. Gorton would be Stipendiary Steward. The New Zealand Racing Club lotwarded circulars to Clubs, including notification of stricter regulations it respect to the general conduct ol jockeys and trainers. Nominations lor the Racing Conference and District Racing Committee j were invited. Mr D. J. Evans w.tI nominated as one ol the ( otinf ry Clul I representatives to the X.Z. Racing j Conference for the Greymouth district .' Messrs F. McGregor and D. .1. Evam ! were nominated to the Greymouth Dis ! tried Racing Committee.
