The. Kokatahi .swimming carnival and sports took place on Friday last at Mr W. Dicdrichs paddocks. There was a good attendance present though not as many townspeople as would have been present had the sports taKen place on Wednesday. The day was line, buzt there was too keen a wind lor the enjoyment of swimming. Nevertheless the programme was carried through successfully and much enjoyment resulted from the various events.
