Mr T. Woodroffe of Hillsborough. Christchurch, who was organiser for the recent successful exhibition in that city, and who volunteered to act as honorary adviser in regard to the lay out of the proposed exhibition at Hokitika has prepared a draft plan for the exhibition taking in the Town Hall, Drill Filed. Horticultural Hall. Fire Brigade Station etc. This location is in preference to that of Cass Square of which a ground plan was sent, also, to Mr Woodroffe. The plan of the proposed exhibition is being exhibition in Mr S. J. Preston’s, Revel] Street, where all interested may have the opportunity of inspecting it prior to the advent of Mr Woodroffe, expected here next Saturday week. On the Monday afternoon it is proposed Mr Woodroffe should meet all those connected with tile building avi'angeinents proposed and discuss various arrangements while at night a general meeting of the public will be held to meet Messrs Woodroffe. and Jenkins to discuss the "hole exhibition scheme, and definitely launch the proposal. 'When the details are all fixed Mr Wood ruffe will complete the plans etc., so that applications for space can lie applied for at once, and the whole business of the big undertaking put in hand.

Mr Woodroffe’s influence will secure a very fine range of exhibits from Canterbury and in addition friends of the Coast are working actively in Dunedin.
