The upper portion <>f Petersen Road was cleared of grass growth by the us, ul the road grader drawn by the County motor, anil a defective culvert renewed on La I'ontaine Road between La Fontaine Creek bridge and Wanganui Flat Road. The County motor was also engaged in removing iron rails I rum Petersen's Road to the Main South Road and to Bold Head Road immediately beyond Lower Knkapotahi Bridge. •The Roadman attended to repairs on Petersen. Robi-rtson's and Wanganui flat Roads. 284 cubic sards of gravel being used for the purpose.
