New Zealand is the most wonderful country in the world, for it can at once In- made the playground and workroom of the people and there is nothing in other lands of which we have not a little here. Our industrial future, therefore, will lie as big as ourselves, and the more we educate ourselves in the broader sense of the word, the more we advertise tbi- richly endowed land—of which millions are so pathetically ignorant and the more we work conceitedly for the national good, the sooner will we place ourselves among the nations of the earth, where our industrial potentialities entitle us to lie.
